I am starting the journey to starting my own business. I want to share my love of stationary, journals, photography, and writing. I have many interests, but I’d like to share certain passions with you all here. I want to learn from others and share what I know. I hope to connect with others who want to do the same thing. My crafts and love of office supplies will be the focus here, but I hope to share a bit of myself and my faith as well.
I’ve had an Etsy store for a long time. I used to sell custom journals bound in the Coptic method.
Coptic refers to the method of binding. |
I like that it opens completely flat.

Recently, I discovered the amazing versatility of traveler’s journals. The original brand name is Midori, which is from Japan. It’s not sold in the US,so those of us who love them make our own or find those who do. I made mine and LOVE it. I’ll have to do a blog soon to show my set-up. When I started carrying mine around, a few friends asked where I got it. When I said I made it, they asked if I would make on for them. I was happy to oblige. I am always happy to share my love of something. I now have more orders. They are still from people I know for the most part, but it’s a start. The versatility of this note book means it can be a planner, journal, idea book, sketchbook, scrapbook, budget tracker, fitness tracker, prayer journal, devotional, and many other things. The only limit is your imagination! Please comment if you have a question. Certainly feel free to visit my Etsy store if you want a custom traveler’s notebook (or if you’re interested in a Coptic journal).
This is mine! I take it everywhere.

Why didn't you show the inside? That would give a flavor of the variety you have already created. She created one for me with sketch paper do I can practice sketching when I feel the urge. Very nice.
